Zeitsprung community project Bielefeld
‘Irre ich real’ is a work created for and with 50 volunteer participants from the city of Bielefeld Germany. Each individual comes from a different social demographic ranging from high school students to adults and seniors. Aged between 12 to 78 with little or no dance/theatre experience, Theater Bielefeld offers the unique opportunity for anyone to experience being part of a professional dance theatre production. Over the course a of 5 week period, an intensive creative development including daily training is directed by two guest choreographers (Melanie Lane and Miranda Von Haania) towards a full-scale production season presented at the Theaterlabor.
‘Irre ich real’ is linked with Tanztheater Bielefeld’s production ‘Identity 2.0′ investigating the same theme of social networking and information dispersion via the internet.
