PHANTASM explores the terrain of ghosts, jinns, banshees and spectre’s. Drawing from stories of feminine spirits, Melanie unpacks the roots of these stories, to re-visit them through a feminist lens, considering the figures of ghosts as bodies of resistance and knowledge. Creating a world where there is slippage between the seen and the unseen, the spirit world permeates through ancestral lineages and cultural mythologies.
